1- What is a virtual account for?
The Virtual Account is created automatically when opening a Trio Account, and you can create new Virtual Accounts according to your needs. They will help organize your payments per merchant/context.
For example: a company with several projects can create a banking context to receive and pay for each project separately. This makes data visualization more interesting.
2- How to create a Virtual Account?
To do it via API, access our documentation at Create Virtual Account and choose which language you will integrate with.
To create a Virtual Account within our Console, simply click on the Virtual Accounts option located in the MENU on the left side and, when opening the page, click on the upper right + button and the following will appear:
All set! Now you have a virtual account.

IMPORTANT:
a) Every QR Code (Billing) issuance must be linked to a Virtual Account within your company's Trio Account.
b) It is not possible to make a cash-out (Payment) from the Virtual Account if it has no balance. If you wish to do this, an alternative is to move money internally using Pix between accounts - a maneuver that has no additional cost.
